1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Tape B Cloud, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Tape B Cloud is independently operated by Aakash Suchak and is not a corporation.
2. Informational use only
Tape B provides public-market information, calculations, and model-generated explanations for informational and educational purposes. Nothing provided through Tape B is personalized investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold a security.
3. No regulated relationship
Tape B and its operator are not acting as your broker-dealer, investment adviser, exchange, financial planner, attorney, accountant, tax adviser, or fiduciary. Using Tape B does not create an advisory, brokerage, agency, or fiduciary relationship.
4. No trade execution or account control
Tape B cannot access brokerage accounts, balances, positions, transactions, or orders. It cannot preview, place, route, modify, cancel, or execute a trade. You remain solely responsible for any action taken in a brokerage or financial account.
5. Data and model limitations
Market data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, incorrectly labeled, or erroneous. Calculations and model-generated explanations may also contain errors or omit relevant information. Quotes and other values can change quickly and may not be executable.
You are responsible for independently checking data, assumptions, calculations, and suitability before making a financial decision.
6. Acceptable use
You may use Tape B only lawfully and in a way that does not disrupt or misuse the service. You may not:
- attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, or tool restrictions;
- probe for credentials, tokens, nonpublic data, or brokerage-account information;
- interfere with the service, its providers, or other users;
- use automated requests in a manner that overloads the service or violates a provider’s terms;
- misrepresent Tape B output as guaranteed, official, or personalized advice; or
- use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
7. Intellectual property
Tape B’s name, icon, site design, original text, software, and other original materials are owned by the operator or used with permission. These Terms allow you to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of Tape B materials. Market data and third-party names or materials remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective owners.
8. Third-party services
Tape B relies on services operated by others, including ChatGPT, hosting infrastructure, source hosting, and market-data providers. Their services and terms are separate from Tape B. Tape B does not control their availability, accuracy, security, or policies.
9. Changes, interruptions, and termination
Tape B may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue some or all of the service at any time. Access may be interrupted by maintenance, provider limits, outages, security concerns, or other circumstances. The operator may restrict or terminate access for abuse, legal risk, security risk, or violation of these Terms.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tape B is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, noninfringement, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, trading losses, lost data, or business interruption arising from Tape B or reliance on its output. Where liability cannot be excluded, the operator’s total liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use Tape B during the preceding 12 months or US $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that is not required to be heard elsewhere by law will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Rhode Island.
13. General terms
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the agreement between you and the operator concerning Tape B and supersede prior statements on that subject.
